Zhang Yu, formerly known as Zhang Xin, was born in Guizhou Province on September 25, 1982. He is a film and television actor in China and graduated from Art College of Guizhou University. In 2005, he participated in the spy war drama "Blood Dawn" and officially entered the entertainment circle. In 2008, he participated in the story film "Water Phoenix". In 2010, he played the leading role of Li Lei in the micro-film "Li Lei and Han Meimei". In 2011, he starred in the story film "Hometown New Home".
