Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher has been struggling a bit on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, but luckily, a few alums could replace her. Daisy has appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht since season 2, where she rose to fame due to her quick-witted jokes and professional nature. However, her reputation shifted after engaging in a love triangle with former Chief Engineer Colin Macrae and First Officer Gary King in season 4. Now, in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, she's having a tough time.

Daisy and Gary had a confrontation in the premiere episode, where the Irish stew berated the South African yachtie for his lack of support and friendship in the aftermath of her breakup with Colin. Gary admitted in a talking head to having lingering feelings for Daisy, but those have yet to play out in the current season. If Daisy continues to struggle with managing her stews, she may need a replacement.

Aesha Scott's addition to Below Deck Med season 9 was much needed after the lackluster season 8. Xandi Olivier, from Below Deck season 11, would have been a great casting choice for Below Deck Med. The franchise could have considered bringing back alums like Kyle or Natalya for a shocking casting decision.

With Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 finally inviting a fourth stew to the Mustique, plenty of franchise alums could have returned instead of a new addition. The ninth installment welcomed Aesha Scott to the show as Captain Sandy Yawns Chief Stew. She made her debut within the Below Deck franchise during Below Deck Med season 4 as a stew underneath Hannah Ferrier. After two successful seasons, she became a fan-favorite crew member and joined Below Deck Down Under as Chief Stew, working alongside Captain Jason Chambers.

The venue has held Power Slap and UFC events in the past, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic without fans. It’s new, yet familiar territory for the participants.
