Parikshit is a versatile writer-director-actor hailing from Uttarakhand, India. He began his creative career at The Viral Fever (TVF), where he crafted sketches and short-form content, later becoming a key contributor at The Screen Patti (TSP). At TSP, he not only wrote the popular mini-series Zeroes and Weekends, but also mentored emerging writers and led development on hit shows like Hum Tum.
In 2020, he made his long-form debut with Feels Like Home, a coming-of-age dramedy about four boys sharing a house, which he co-wrote. Parikshit later partnered with Civic Studios, directing two recurring series and making his directorial debut in the long form with Family Aaj Kal, a family drama that premiered on Sony LIV.
His recent work includes co-writing Half Love Half Arranged Season 2 for Amazon MiniTV and directing Arranged Patch Up 2 (starring Ankush Bahuguna). Known for his sensitivity towards interpersonal relationships and character-driven storytelling, no matter the genre, Parikshit believes that "art is personal, and personal is universal."
Outside of filmmaking, he is passionate about lyrics, poetry, (analog) photography, stand-up comedy, and cricket.
