Jordan Phelps is a film director, producer and co-founder of VAM STUDIO, the nation's leading LGBTQ+POC owned, operated and centered independent film production company. His mission has always been to support the underrepresented voices of POC, female and Queer talent across multiple forms of video content.
He has produced educational and humanitarian work through organizations such as The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Illinois Humanities and the Terra Foundation to the AIDS Foundation of America and Gilead Pharmaceuticals.
He has directed and produced visuals for Grammy award winning artists such as Chance the Rapper and Esperanza Spalding as well as incredible musical talents such as Jamila Woods, Jidenna, Junglepussy and Drag sensation Shea Couleé.
In 2019 Jordan served as producer and editor of the acclaimed web series "Damaged Goods", garnering national nominations for Best Original Series at the Webbys, Streamys and Queertie Awards. Jordan was also recognized in the Top 50 Screen Gems by Newcity Film and his work has been reviewed by Rolling Stones, Vogue, Pitchfork, Billboard and Paper Magazines among other.
