Madelaine Rose was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She is an actor trained both in theatre, as well as film/television, and has a specialized honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama Studies from York University. Upon graduating from university she won the 2015 Drama Studies Bookprize in recognition of her achievements and contribution to the program. She is best known for playing Miranda in The Bump.
