Omar was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is the oldest of 5 children. He grew up in rougher areas in Ottawa and at age 15 moved to Edmonton Alberta, where he completed High school at Jasper Place school. He then went on to complete his Business degree in Human resources from the Northern Alberta Institute of technology.
Omar enjoys acting and has started getting his feet wet in the industry with a decent number of minor extra roles for 2 feature length films and two short films. His desire to be an actor never left him and his strong work ethic is due to his determination to be an actor that is well respected beyond just Edmonton.
Omar enjoys playing basketball and reading in his spare time.
