Mario Romano was born in Catania (Sicily). As a young boy he developed an interest in acting and theatre. After studying Acting in Catania's Teatro Stabile and in Rome, he very soon made his appearance on the most famous Italian theatrical stages, as well as on major films.
In the early '90s he moved to Germany and after studying the language, he successfully began working as an actor, both for TV and cinema. His love for animals led him to become a parrots trainer. Combining his two passions (acting and animals) he created a show in which he performed with parrots. The show immediately gained the attention of a television channel which produced a documentary about Mario and his parrots.
Mario works as an actor and model in London, where he has attended acting workshops with the best local Acting teachers.
