John D. Farmer is an award winning director, writer, producer and is best known for his work on Attollo (2018), Quaestio (2018), City of Salt (2020), Polygamy Gone Wrong (2020), Rite of the Shaman (2022) See You Next Tuesday (2022), Compassion Spreads Like Wildfire (2023) and Algea (2023).

John has accumulated many awards throughout his career. As president of Zepstone Media, he and his wife Alicia Oberle Farmer (CEO) work tirelessly to support independent artists from around the world. They also run the Zepstone International Film Awards (ZIFA), and every year they hold an in person art festival showcasing Independent films, art, music and fashion.

In addition to his work on independent films, John has been in the music industry for over 30 years, supporting independent musicians around the world. In 2008, John founded and became CEO of Utah Musicians, which grew into Global Music Radio within a matter of 3 years. His company ended up running online radio stations in 47 states in America and 43 countries, playing local, independent and original music. In 2017, John stepped down from GMR. He now spends his time as President of Zepstone and CEO of Utah Music Radio - bridging music and film together with independent film and music.
