Born in the late 70's when disco was still cool- fell in the love with magic of motion pictures at the age of 5 when he viewed "ET: The Extra Terrestrial" in the local cinema in his hometown of Big Spring, Texas in 1982. Brandon was one of the founders of the Big Spring Film Society, and the founder of cruiserfilms. After several video experiments in the 90's , he moved to Austin, Texas, where he joined the Cinemakers Co-op and learned the art of making super 8 experimental shorts. Produced the 16mm feature film "Living" with El Camino Productions in the summer of 2000. Returned to Big Spring in late 2000 and starred in and produced the independent feature, "Tuckers Table", that was filmed in the historic Settles Hotel pre-restoration. Wrote film commentary and reviews for the website NeoArchaic Revue from 2005-08, and in 2010 began producing Movies on the Radio- a 2 hour show dedicated to film, filmmaking, and of course soundtracks. Joined forces with James Fite and Check Your Brain productions in 2012, and in 2015 produced the short documentary "Project Mone't" that was seen in film festivals across the country. Produced the short thriller "I See Something" in 2016 also with Fite and Check Your Brain. Summer of 2017 Brandon made his acting debut in the Ty Roberts film, "The Iron Orchard" that was filmed in Big Spring. Produced the horror short film "Caprock" in 2020, again with Fite and Check Your Brain. In 2018, produced and starred as Brad Sand in the short film, "Carnage Radio", from Check Your Brain Productions and cruiserfilms. After a festival run, it was decided to turn the short into a feature - and after several setbacks, the feature film version of "Carnage Radio" went into production in Big Spring in the fall of 2021. The film is currently on the film festival circuit, it received several awards at the Prison City Film Festival in Feb '24. After playing the virtual section of Panic Fest in Kansas City in April '24, Carnage Radio was reviewed by horror site Dread Central, Morbidly Beautiful, and Scare Value.
