Image
"Is dad John Wick?" Vertical has unveiled an official US trailer for the action comedy movie starring Kevin James called Guns Up, set to open in July this summer. We already posted the international trailer for this a few months ago. It's the latest action movie creation made by director Edward Drake. A family-man ex-cop now moonlighting as a henchman for the mob has one night to get his family out of the city – and keep his dark secret hidden from his kids – after a job goes wrong. Kevin James stars as Ray Hayes, who was working as a mob thug and now needs to get his family to safety. Here's a tidbit from IMDb trivia: "Kevin James has stated that he got the inspiration for his performance by watching French bulldogs try to jump up on a couch. When they kept falling and were unable to get up, he...

"What's this I hear about you wanting to quit the game?" Empire Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an action comedy movie called Guns Up, the latest from director Edward Drake. This has no US release set yet - even with Kevin James. It looks like it's opening in European countries this summer before anywhere else, hence why this first trailer and other posters are already out. Image
Here’s your first look at the brand new trailer for Charlie Day’s Fool’S Paradise.

The movie stars Charlie Day, Ken Jeong, Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Ray Liotta, Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, John Malkovich, Common, and Jillian Bell.

Charlie Day just saved the Mushroom Kingdom, but the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star already has his next adventure lined up. Day is making his directorial debut with the satirical comedy “Fool’s Paradise,” and Roadside Attractions has released the first trailer for the feature.

Day, who also wrote the screenplay, stars in “Fool’s Paradise” as two characters: a mute man recently released from a mental health facility, and a temperamental method actor who refuses to finish production on his Western film. When the producer of the film (played by the late Ray Liotta) discovers the mute man wandering the streets of Los Angeles, he gets roped into filling in for the movie star. Soon, a publicist (Ken Jeong) gives him the stage name Latte Pronto and takes him under his wing, transforming the nobody into a huge star. The film follows Latte and the publicist as they navigate fame and fortune,...

The gang of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have recently spread their creative wings fairly recently despite now having the longest-running live-action comedy series on television. Each cast member has pulled double duty on the FX show and other projects to varying degrees. The trailer for Fool’s Paradise just dropped and invites you to partake in the madness that is show business.

The official synopsis reads,

Bruce Willis at an event for Expendables : Unité spéciale (2010)
American Siege review – Bruce Willis sleepwalks through a thriller without thrills
Bruce Willis at an event for Expendables : Unité spéciale (2010)
This small-town crime movie has a dash of imagination in its plot but Willis’s flagrant inertia makes it one for the diehards

‘This is Georgia,” drawls a character near the start of this tiresome, oddly dull action thriller. “Everyone’s doing something they’re not supposed to be doing.” But the problem with Bruce Willis in the movie is that he’s not doing something that he is supposed to be doing: acting. He puts in a such a wooden performance playing a washed-up, burnt-out cop that I could have screamed in frustration.

American Siege is set 10 years after the mysterious disappearance in a backwater town of teenager Brigit Baker (played in flashback by Sarah May Sommers). Brigit’s boyfriend Roy (Rob Gough) has spent the past decade in prison; now he wants the truth. Armed to the teeth, he storms the house of a local pharmacist, accompanied by...

"I'm the Sheriff of this county." "Don't forget who put you there." Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for American Siege, another of these junk Bruce Willis action movies he has been making non-stop for the last few years. This is from the same director as Broil and Cosmic Sin and Apex - all films which I hope none of you have paid to see. Here's the recycled plot for American Siege: An ex-nypd officer-turned-sheriff of a small rural Georgia town has to contend with a gang of thieves who have taken a wealthy doctor hostage. Bruce Willis co-stars with Timothy V. Murphy, plus Rob Gough, Anna Hindman, Johann Urb, Cullen G. Chambers, and Trevor Gretzky. This looks excruciatingly bad... And the only reason we keep featuring these Willis trailers is just to gawk at how awful they are + laugh at this absurdity. Here's the official trailer (+ poster...

Howard co-stars as the young man's coach, and his name and likeness were featured prominently in the movie's marketing.

Two weeks after the release of Triumph, Terrence Howard had his lawyers send a cease and desist letter to employees at Cinemark, Digital Ignition Entertainment, Argonaut Entertainment Pictures, and others. Per the complaint, Howard alleges that his name, image, and likeness have been used in connection with the movie without his consent. Attorney Michael Saltz notes in the letter that Howard's involvement was "conditioned upon the satisfaction of material monetary and non-monetary promises made by the producers,...
