Matt Lindholm was in born in Lancaster County, Nebraska to entrepreneur parents, Swede Lindholm and Gina Srdar. Matt spent his childhood between the upper Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and Southeastern, United States. He acknowledges the constant change and exposure to dialects as one of the influences on his interest in acting.
Matt went to college wanting to study cinematography. However, he ended up studying Geography at Gustavus Adolphus College. Matt and his roommate, composer David B. Mann (of Minnesota) won Gustavus's 2007 Film Festival. Following college, Matt attended the University of Minnesota's Graduate School of Geography. To help pay for bills, Matt began a successful side hustle as an impressionist and voice actor.
After marrying his high school sweet heart, Matt settled down in the Twin Cities and began a career in the environmental consulting industry. Long interested in acting, Matt didn't make the transition to professional acting until he found himself unemployed from his day job as a Geographic Information Scientist. After answering a casting call by a music video producer looking for actors to play a SWAT team officer, he has not stopped acting and continues to be an up-and-comer in film and TV.
