- Maia is an Iraqi-born Australian actor and filmmaker who will be portraying the formidable Batul Al Hamedi in the upcoming Matchbox Pictures and ABC production, House of Gods.
She also played Jamila Bayati in the ABC series, Savage River (2022), starring Katherine Langford. Other credits include the NBC mini-series Fires (2021) and Channel Seven's Secret Bridesmaids' Business (2019).
