Biography

Megha Akash is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu films. She studied at Lady Andal School in Chennai and graduated in BSc Visual Communications from Women's Christian College, Chennai.

She debuted with the Telugu action thriller Lie (2017), where she played Chaitra. The film also stars Nithiin. She made her debut in Tamil films in 2019 as Anu with the action drama Petta (2019). The movie also starred superstar Rajinikanth.

She had five releases in 2019, Petta (2019), Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven (2019), Boomerang (2019), Enai Noki Paayum Thota (2019) and her debut Hindi action drama, Satellite Shankar (2019), where she played the role of Pramila.

She was next seen in the Tamil romantic comedy Oru Pakka Kathai (2020), for which she won the Reigning Princess Kollywood at the Edison Awards, given to actors in the Tamil Film industry.

In 2021, Megha had four releases. One was a Tamil romantic drama Kutty Story (2021), starring Gautham Vasudev Menon and Amala Paul. She played Nikisha, a police officer, in her second Bollywood film, Radhe (2021), starring Salman Khan, Disha Patani, and Randeep Hooda. Her last two releases for the year 2021 were the Telugu films Raja Raja Chora (2021) and Dear Megha (2021).

Akash's starred in the Telegu romantic drama Gurthunda Seethakalam (2022) where she played Divya. She was also a part of Premadesam (2023), where she played Aadhya, and the Tamil sci-fi comedy-drama Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum (2023), where she played Simran.

Akash has been a part of two music videos, Oru Chance Kudu and Thappu Pannitten.
