Barracuda Queens (Season 2) Recap & Ending Explained: Do the Girls Manage to Get Away with the Heist?
Image
The Swedish series “Barracuda Queens” circles a group of female friends who can’t help but stowaway and have thieving impulses to cushion lavish lifestyles. Now most of them are already staggeringly rich, but they are still hinging on their parents. Financial cushioning will allow them to pursue lives separately, without the undertow of parents, having to adhere to certain expectations.

Come hell or high water, the girls have each other’s backs, cruising through misfortunes and spells of rotten luck with solid mutual trust and impeccable rapport. In “Barracuda Queens” (Season 2), the machinations of the thieving aren’t really laid out with specific care and attention as they would be in heist thrillers. There’s almost a casual attitude to them, the girls carrying off, destroying, or making secret deals effortlessly. As always, Lollo is the one who takes charge, pushing the group not to quit dreaming bigger.

‘Barracuda Queens’ Season 2 Ending Explained & Finale Recap: Whose Hair Is In Jesper’s Car?
Image
Barracuda Queens season 2 gives us a happy ending for the 5 “queens” of thieving. Netflix’s Swedish show is loosely based on true events. The first season, which was set in 1995, introduced us to the 5 queens, who got away with stealing expensive jewelry, paintings, etc., almost by chance. The girls initially robbed a wealthy home in the hope of paying off a debt but enjoyed the thrill of it all too much. When things got out of hand, it was Margareta, Lollo’s mom, who saved them. Now, in the year 2000, a new millennium has begun, and the girls have all moved on since that near-arrest experience. Now they’re all older, but not as independent as they’d hoped they would be. So this led them to consider taking up robbing again. The second season sees the girls living together and having the time of their lives until things get out of hand.
