Sold, produced, Award-Winning writer Sean Mick grew up in Northern California where he studied film and art at Sonoma State University, then continued his training through seminars with many of the top screenwriting "gurus" in Hollywood... including John Truby, Christopher Vogler & Robert McKee. His cinematic influences include Howard Hawks, Sam Peckinpah, and Michael Mann.
Sean is active in the Carson Cinema Club (C-5), where he hosts monthly film screenings and analyzes classic films on their weekly radio show, serves as a judge for the Reno-based Silver State Storytellers ongoing series of short film contests, and also teaches screenwriting at Western Nevada College.
Sean and his lovely wife Gina reside in Nevada not far from beautiful Lake Tahoe. They have two kids and two very pampered cats.
