Kris Lloyd is an Executive Producer/Actress/Writer/Emcee/Host/Coach, and a seasoned Public Relations Professional. Kris plays the lead character, Dr. Augusta Weber, in the movie 'Traces of Indignity' directed by Renee Williams of Her Vision Studios and one of the lead characters, Attorney Denver Brown, in the newly released film, 'Double Blended' written by Robert Brown, Jr. of RBJ Entertainment. She also serves as Executive Producer for both films. 'Traces of Indignity' was released in 2019 and received national and international distribution. The full feature film can be viewed on Peacock, Amazon Prime, Tubi, VUDU, Roku, and other outlets. Double Blended was released in December 2024. Kris also played Apollonia in RBJ Entertainment's 'Red Kool Aid' and is currently playing Pastor Denise Brown in 'Sundays After Church,' written and produced by Eric Brown of Cinnamon Brown Entertainment which is currently in production. Other credits include two national super bowl commercials, local commercials in Montgomery, Alabama, The M Transit, Wind Creek Casino, Eastchase Mall, C Squared, Adams Drugs, Montgomery Zoo, First Community Bank, and a host of print ads, billboards, infomercials, voice overs and more. She also emcees and hosts key productions and events across the nation.
Because of her enthusiasm and positive attitude in life and the workplace, Kris was featured in a New York Times Best Seller motivational book by Carmine Gallo called "Fire Them Up!"
Kris attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was one of the lead dancers in the Aristocrat of Bands and was also crowned Miss Black & Gold. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications and Theatre. While working on her degree, Hawkins served as a print model for various campaigns and photographers in the Nashville area. Never having formally been trained in modeling, Hawkins tapped into her God given gifts and her TSU theatre training and used them to her advantage.
As an Executive Producer, Actor, Writer, Emcee, Host, and Coach, Kris is driven by her ability to resonate with her audiences and make their experience memorable.
Kris loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends. She is the proud mother of Dr. Brianna Hawkins, Senior Scientist, Oncology, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
