Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells , an upcoming TV anime based on the series of dark fantasy isekai light novels, has revealed eight new cast members and the official ending theme song performers for the show. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo Broadcasting System beginning on July 4, 2024, with an additional broadcast to follow on BS11 beginning on July 7, 2024. I'm in Love With the Villainess has dropped a set of preview visuals from Episode 1.

As detailed by Anime Corner, the anime's official site recently posted new images that showcase the amusing romantic dynamic between series leads Rae Taylor and Claire Francois. Earlier this month, the studio also revealed a new promotional video for Villainess highlighting the series' theme songs, Raise Y/Our Hands and Optimum Combination. The anime, which adapts Inori and Hanagata's popular light novel series of the same name, is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 2. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series for viewers outside of Japan.

Platinum Vision has revealed a new promo for the Girl's Love anime, I'm in Love With the Villainess.

As detailed by Anime News Network, the anime's official website recently unveiled the promotional video, which highlights the infatuation of the series' protagonist Rae Taylor for her love interest, Claire Francois. This promo also features the show's two main theme songs, "Raise Y/Our Hands!" (Op) and "O.C.-Optimum Combination (Ed), which are performed by lead actors Karin Nanami (Claire) and Yu Serizawa (Rae). The series is scheduled to start broadcasting on Tokyo Mx on Oct. 2, 12:30 a.m. Jst. Earlier this year, Crunchyroll acquired the streaming rights to I'm in Love With the Villainess for all territories except Asia.

Fans of the Gl light novel series I'm in Love With the Villainess will be treated to a new spinoff manga this summer.

As detailed on Anime News Network, Comic Yuri Hime magazine recently announced that the popular light novel series would receive a four-chapter spinoff manga drawn by the artist tsuke. This comedy series, Maid's Kitchen, follows protagonist Rae and her friend Lene as they work together to prepare sweets for Rae's love interest, Claire Francois. Comic Yuri Hime magazine will publish the manga's debut chapter on June 16.

Netflix Announces 13 New Animes Coming Soon
Netflix is diving deep into the anime game with a baker's dozen of new titles. Of those titles is a Godzilla animated film, A Children of the Whales Series, and a Holy Grail War in Fate/Apocrypha!

Earlier today, we reported that Netflix was working on a remake of Saint Seija, Knights of the Zodiac Series, but that just happens to be one part of a bigger venture Netflix is undergoing. On Netflix's insider page, they've announced 13 animes coming to the streaming service, at various times. The extensive list is as follows:

Cannon Busters Devilman Crybaby B: The Beginning (formerly Perfect Bones) Sword Gai: The Animation A.I.C.O. Incarnation Lost Song Rilakkuma Series Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya Baki Fate/Apocrypha Kakegurui Children of the Whales Godzilla

Each one of these brings a unique story and style to the Anime category on Netflix's long catalog of movies and series.

Netflix Picks Up 12 New Anime Series Projects and Godzilla Movie; Watch Some Trailers!
Netflix is going all in on anime as they add the eagerly anticipated Godzilla movie and 12 other projects to their slate of upcoming programming. Deadline says in addition to the series the network is also overseeing the development of Cannon Busters, Devilman Crybaby, B: The Beginning, and Knights Of The Zodiac: Saint Seiya just to name a few.

The Godzilla and Saint Seiya grabs really show that Netflix is working to grab their Western audience who loves anime, but with competitors like Crunchyroll and Funimation (who was recently bought by Sony) in the mix, who knows if they'll be able to compete on that front. Time will tell, but the addition of so many projects seems promising for the future of anime on the platform.
