Biography

Johnny Farace is an actor, musician, athlete, and sports personality who was born in East Islip Long Island New York.

Farace was raised in Mitchell South Dakota. Farace was involved in wrestling and boxing. Farace competed in both sports until 14 and focused solely on boxing until 17 ending with nearly 50 amateur bouts, including a pair of State Silver Gloves titles. states, national world championship titles, including being named the 2015 Master Boxer of the Year by Master Boxing Division USA.

Farace enlisted in The Army National Guard at 17 years of age and at age 20 moved to South Florida to pursue a career in music. Farace played, wrote, and recorded as a rock guitarist in the South Florida band Sick Sense. Farace has worked as a boxing commentator for the Florida State Golden Gloves Finals, hosted a Boxing Talk Show, and Podcasts as well many events as MC.

Farace is well-known for performing a guitar version of The Star-Spangled Banner at live combat sporting events.

Farace trained with the late great and well respected Jane Kelly at her South Florida Actors Workshop for nearly two years. Playing black box scenes from "Other Peoples Money" "The Detective Story" & "Golden Boy".

Farace made his acting debut playing Juan in a trailer for the upcoming film written by Andrew Heller - "A Gift of the Heart." Farace is cast to play the role of Sanchez in the feature of A Gift of the Heart, and Detective Johnson in "Grinders - Proof of Concept"
