Amanda was born in Santa Monica, CA, and began acting at a young age while studying at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. She moved to New York City at the age of 17 to attend New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, from which graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. dual degree in Drama and Broadcast Journalism. At Tisch, she studied at Stella Adler, Atlantic, and Experimental Theater Wing. She currently studies and performs comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.
