Tonya Sharae Davis is a stage and film actor, production crew member, corporate and technical trainer, entertainment industry application specialist, talk show host, and business owner.

Tonya Sharae debuted on the theater stage in 1991 as Tammi Terrell in Soul Sounds at Cleveland, Ohio's historic Karamu House Theater. Over the next two decades, she appeared in numerous productions at Karamu House, both as a member of the ensemble and as a lead. Notable performances include Sis. Caroline in God's Trombones (2016), Aunt Em (US)/Lead Pit Singer in The Wiz (2015), Bertha Holly in August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone (2014), and a singer in the Tony Award-winning musical revue It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues (2014). Tonya Sharae also appeared on stage in community theaters and at Cleveland's Hanna Theater in Playhouse Square, where she portrayed Mary's Mother and the sassy Sweet Brown in A Son is Given: An Urban Ballet (2012).

In 2013, Tonya Sharae earned her first IMDb credit as Thelma in the short film Mama's Kitchen by Myron Davis Films. The following year, she made her debut on the major movie screen in the Cleveland 48 Hour Film Project, portraying Ma (Mrs. Porter) and a dancer in Alternate Ending by KT Films.

In 2017, Tonya Sharae delivered a moving performance as Sabrina Hilton, the mother of a terminally diagnosed son, in Caleb - A Living Miracle by Lorient Vision Productions. Later that year, she expanded her focus to behind-the-camera roles, working as Production Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Script Supervisor for the independent full-length feature film Stand Alone by Trybal Productions, while also playing the role of Sandy Shaw.

Most recently, Tonya Sharae worked on The Deadly Type by Mike Berry with HobbsStyle Productions, Inc., scheduled for release in 2025, where she served as both Script Supervisor and Props Supervisor.

Tonya Sharae has worked on more than 40 TV and film productions in Los Angeles, showcasing her extensive experience and versatility in the entertainment industry.

She began singing in church at the age of 5 and, by age 9, became the Sunday School pianist, performing Beethoven in her school cafeteria during lunch. At 12, she began assisting music teachers with directing and accompanying junior high and high school choirs. That same year, she was added to her church's payroll as Minister of Music for the Youth and Young Adult Choir, a position she held for three years.

In addition to her on-stage and on-screen accomplishments, Tonya Sharae has over 30 years of experience as a lead singer, providing background vocals, recording session vocals and keys, and performing with various bands, groups, and artists across the country.

Tonya Sharae is the Founder and CEO of Lady Intelligence, Ltd., and has authored literary works under the names Nicol, Nicol Fox, and Tonya Nicol Davis. She also boasts an extensive catalog of musical compositions.

Her educational background includes extensive film and production training at the Tri-C Film Academy; acting studies at Karamu House Theater, Rowland Acting Studios, and Cuyahoga Community College (Dean's List); 10 years of piano study at the former Barto's Music School; and coursework at the former Ohio School of Broadcasting.

Tonya Sharae has a 30+ year professional background in Business Administration, Operations, Finance Management, and Organizational Planning.
