Biography

Alicia Ugarte is an experienced actor and model signed by Talent Trek Agency. Born and raised in Peru, she moved to the United States in late 2005 to look for a better future. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Alicia has appeared in many well known TV channels. You may have seen her in HGTV, oxygen, TV one, ID discovery, Honda commercial, Disney holiday commercial, ajinomoto print commercial to name just a few. Alicia also earned the title of Miss Knoxville Latina 2016, and Miss April for the Wimz Rock Babe Calendar. What makes Alicia so unique is that in 2016 she went into severe septic shock and cardiac arrest after the birth of her now only daughter. Alicia was put on life support, and was in a coma for almost two weeks, and in a hospital setting for 3 months, where she endured many surgeries to save her life. She had to learn how to walk, eat, dress herself and everything we take for granted but she pushed through and never gave up; and she is now able to walk all on her own again. Alicia is a qualified registered nurse and graduated from Lincoln Memorial School of Nursing in 2020. A native from Piura, Peru she now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, but travels out of state quite often to film for different films.
