You may recognize Jacob from his turn as a hothead exec stuck in a bathroom time paradox in Matt Black's viral sci-fi thriller Stalled with over 5 million views on YouTube.
Jacob spent his early years working cows and bucking hay bales on his grandfather's farm. When he saw No Country for Old Men where every character looked and sounded like someone from his real life he decided to go to film school, graduating from UNT in 2014 with a degree in Media Arts. Though still a farm boy at heart, Jacob has become a fixture of the Dallas film scene, collaborating both onscreen and off with exciting new and established talents including Matt Black & Ryan Polly at Bonus Features (Pizza Time, I Bet You're Wondering How I Got Here, Monitor), Andrew & Isaac Lewis (The Channel, Osiris, Bethesda) E'an Verdugo (Slamdance 2024 Winner Restorage, Death's Crisis), Julio Cesar Cedillo ( I Bet You're Wondering How I Got Here, Sicario, Narcos: Mexico, Cowboys & Aliens) and Arcadi Palerm-Artis (Oliver at the Pool).
In 2024, Jacob made his directorial debut with the comedy short Taco Baby. The film premiered at DIFF Shorts and received a nomination for Best Texas Short at the Austin Film Festival.
Jacob recently made his feature acting debut in the Lewis Brothers film Bethesda alongside Max Martini, Brianna Hildebrand, James Landry Hebert & Julio Cedillo.
