Aditya Watts, a filmmaker with a formal education in Film Direction from Whistling Woods International (2008-2010) in Mumbai, India, has woven a creative journey marked by exploration and persistence.
His initial foray into independent filmmaking saw the creation of six short films, laying the foundation for his subsequent endeavors. In 2014-15, Aditya embarked on a noteworthy project, The Golden Boyz, a micro-budget sci-fi fantasy. Though the project faced its share of challenges, it served as a valuable learning experience, residing in his hard drive as an afflicted yet cherished creation.
Undeterred by the complexities of independent filmmaking, Aditya undertook a second venture in 2018-shooting Kaansya (Bronzed), an Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Troilus and Cressida'. After navigating the hurdles of indie filmmaking, the film reached completion in November 2023, marking a significant milestone in Aditya's creative journey.
