- Mark was born and raised in Scotland. He attended the Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen, where he first discovered his interest in acting, studying drama and theater electives. After completing school, Mark put acting on hold to focus on professional development and further education.
Mark attended the Aberdeen Business School where he received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with honors in Business Studies; the University of Wales, where he received a Master's of Science (MS) in Finance; and Towson University, where he received a Master's of Business Administration (MBA).
Over the years, Mark worked as an investment banker in equities and derivatives Sales & Trading, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Raising, and Corporate Restructuring. During this time, he covered various industries that included healthcare, biotech, oil & gas, freight, energy, and media and entertainment.
