Biography

Montez Lafayette is one of the most adaptable entertainers of his generation, finding success in acting, music and modeling.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana his love the arts began as a toddler where he would use his sense of humor to make family members laugh. At the age of 9 he began to write songs as a way to cope with the heartbreak of the untimely death of his father. While in high school, Montez recorded his first body of work and once graduating decided to pursue a career as a recording artist. He followed that up with a simultaneous career in acting while attending an audition with a friend. Montez was asked to read a part for a play and displayed so much natural talent that the director hired him on the spot. Lafayette has since begun a company that ranges from everything from teddy bears to charity work.
