Jenny Darren

Jenny Darren is a British singer mainly known for rock music although she has performed in other musical genres. She was born in Birmingham, England and was the adopted daughter of Maud and Leslie Phillips. She attended the Sir Gilbert Claughton grammar school in Dudley, England. Jenny's main break came when she had a record deal with DJM records in the mid 1970s, although she had recorded with other labels previously. The Pat Benatar hit "Heartbreaker" was written for her and she recorded the original version of the song.
