Batman Villain Actor Confirms Role In James Gunn's DC Reboot
Image
A new DC reboot actor confirmed her Batman villain role in one of James Gunn's upcoming Dcu projects. Gunn (who is directing this summer's Superman film starring David Corenswet) has plans for DC's Caped Crusader in his new vision for the franchise, but when this Gotham-based fare will see the light of day remains to be seen. That has not stopped the DC Studios co-ceo from sprinkling in Easter eggs related to Bruce Wayne into other projects across the brand's expansive TV and film slate.

Actress Brey Noelle revealed in a new social post that she will play the Batman baddie White Rabbit in Peacemaker Season 2. While often associated with the Dark Knight, Noelle's character has a long history in DC Comics, making her appearance in the R-rated series exciting for longtime DC fans.

Peacemaker Season 2 First Trailer Features Maxwell Lord, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, And More Of The New Dcu
Image
James Gunn has shared the first trailer for Peacemaker season 2, and it opens with John Cena's former Task Force X member attempting to join the ranks of Maxwell Lord's superhero team (believed to be called the "Justice Gang" based on Superman toy leaks).

Lord is flanked by Green Lantern Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl, neither of whom seems particularly impressed by Peacemaker. We also learn more about Rick Flag Sr.'s plans for the man who murdered his son in The Suicide Squad, though this doesn't look like a typical revenge mission.

There's also a huge surprise at the end of the trailer as we see a second Peacemaker! It seems there will be a Multiversal component to the series, perhaps meaning the Dceu's Christopher Smith travels to the Dcu.

According to a newly released synopsis for Peacemaker season 2, "The new season follows Christopher 'Chris' Smith, aka Peacemaker, the vigilante...

There's No "I" In "Peace" On First Poster For Peacemaker Season 2; First Trailer Arrives Tomorrow
Image
The first poster for Peacemaker season 2 has been released, with the trailer now confirmed for tomorrow. Some of you may be disappointed that this is getting a push before Superman's first full trailer lands, but the Man of Steel did recently get a 5-minute sneak peek and featurette.

This latest sneak peek, which follows yesterday's TV spot, doesn't reveal much, but puts the spotlight on the title character and Eagly. It's also accompanied by the tagline, "There is no I in Peace."

Plot details for season 2 are being kept a closely guarded secret, though there are rumblings that, among the changes made when we follow Smith into a new reality, will be the fact that his father and brother are alive again. Frank Grillo's Rick Flag Sr. will also be out for revenge after learning of Peacemaker's role in his son's death.

Peacemaker spun out of the events of The Suicide Squad,...

Peacemaker Season 2 TV Spot Sees Rick Flag Sr. On The Hunt For His Son's Killer
Image
During Inside the NBA on TNT yesterday evening, a new TV spot for Peacemaker season 2 aired. Offering our best look yet at the Dcu TV series, we see the show's leads forced to resign themselves to the fact they're not considered heroes, despite saving the world.

It appears that Peacemaker and company will return to White Dragon's lair, though they seem to be on the run from someone.

Rick Flag Sr., perhaps? This preview confirms he's on the hunt for Christopher Smith and eager to avenge what happened to his son in The Suicide Squad.

James Gunn has previously revealed that Flag takes over A.R.G.U.S. from Amanda Waller (we're guessing that was meant to be explained in the Waller TV series that's stalled), leading to him learning the truth about what happened in Corto Maltese. We'll catch up with the Creature Commandos lead in Superman this summer.

"We do...

‘Peacemaker’ Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and All You Need to Know
Image
Of all the characters from The Suicide Squad, why focus on the guy who murdered Rick Flag? James Gunn, however, saw a fair bit of potential in John Cena’s Christopher Smith, a walking disaster with daddy issues and a pretty skewed sense of morality. It became evident in the early minutes of the first season of Peacemaker that this was not what it looked like, albeit the packaging.

Peacemaker Season 1 was very much a case of lightning in a bottle. It successfully took a relatively obscure DC character and turned him into a compelling figure in an already saturated superhero genre. It’s doubly hard for any new superhero introduction to be meaningful these days and to find an audience, yet Peacemaker was able to do that relatively easily.

It’s been three years since that Season 1 finale back in 2022, but with all the shuffling at Warner Bros., the...

Peacemaker Season 2: Actor Affirms Their Batman Villain Casting
Image
A new Batman villain is officially joining Peacemaker Season 2, with actress Brey Noelle confirming she’ll play White Rabbit in the upcoming Max series. Her casting marks one of the first major additions to the new season, which is set to bring back John Cena’s antihero, Peacemaker, for another round of chaotic, R-rated action when the Dcu series returns in August 2025.

Amidst a slew of R-rated projects being developed for the Dcu, Peacemaker will be back in all of its mature-rated glory later in 2025. Airing its first episodes since early 2022, John Cena and co. are expected to deliver many of the same violence, shenanigans, and hijinks fans came to love from him in his solo series.

Outside of a couple of key connections to other DC projects, plot details and story information remain largely under wraps for the second season of Gunn's hit Max series. Now, as its release date inches closer,...

Peacemaker: Actress confirms playing Batman villain in the upcoming second season
Image
Late last year, James Gunn announced that the second season of Peacemaker, a spin-off of his film The Suicide Squad, had wrapped. He would announce to fans on his official social media, saying, “And that is a Wrap on Peacemaker season 2, including our last remaining actors Steve Agee, Tim Meadows, Sol Rodriguez & Brandon Stanley (& our Dp Sam McCurdy pictured here moments after the last shot.)” Gunn wrote. “Thanks to our entire cast & crew who made this a wonderful experience. My relief to have a break from shooting after ten months straight is countered by how much I’ll miss all of you!“ However, very little is known about this upcoming season, which will premiere this August on Max (a month after the release of his Superman). Gunn would even tease fans about an added character with a mysterious set pic. Now, Newsweek is reporting on a revealed bit of casting.

Peacemaker: Brey Noelle Confirms That She Will Play Batman Villain White Rabbit In Season 2
Image
Singer/actress Brey Noelle has now confirmed that she will play White Rabbit in the second season of James Gunn's Peacemaker.

Noelle shared the news to her Instagram stories after the rumor of her casting sprang online thanks to an IMDb listing. She also commented on several other posts welcoming her to the Dcu.

In the comics, the original White Rabbit debuted in the pages of Adventures of Superman #500 back in the '90s, but the better-known incarnation of the character was a Batman baddie created by David Finch and Paul Jenkins as part of DC's New 52.

Jaina Hudson is the daughter of an American diplomat and an Indian Bollywood actress, and has the ability to duplicate herself into two separate beings. It's possible that Noelle is only playing one of these personas, although there's always a chance she will have a completely different power set in the show.

'Peacemaker' Season 2 Will Star Brey Noelle as Batman Villain White Rabbit
Image
A lesser-known Batman villain is joining the Dcu, as actress Brey Noelle has confirmed she will appear in Peacemaker Season 2. Despite Peacemaker Season 1 airing in 2022 and originally being part of the Dceu, Season 2 of the hit series will now take place in James Gunn's new Dcu and will debut in August 2025, just one month after Superman. Despite Peacemaker taking place on the outskirts of the DC franchise, it often has a lot of fun featuring lesser-known heroes and villains and giving them the spotlight. Season 2 looks to introduce a new member of Batman's rogue gallery. Just don't expect the Court of Owls.

IMDb lists Brey Noelle as playing the DC villain White Rabbit in Peacemaker Season 2. While IMDb listings don't always mean an actor will be part of the series, Noelle confirmed the casting news on her Instagram stories. The account Gunnverse made a post welcoming Noelle to the Dcu,...

‘Replicator’ Review

Replicator, the new film from director Mark Andrew Hamer and co-writer Russ Lindway comes with a wonderfully comic book styled poster, a title that makes you think of the Resonator from Lovecraft’s From Beyond and a plot that recalls Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Darby Vincent is having a bad day. First, a judge let the abusive husband of the woman she was representing walk free thanks to the incompetence of Sheriff Williams’ the same married sheriff she’s having an affair with.

Then she comes home to find her father Ron, whom she reluctantly allowed to move in with her, getting it on with Gina. And then goes off on her for interrupting them. It’s obvious that terminal cancer hasn’t...
