Dennis was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After high school, he attended Jefferson College and graduated with an Associates in Criminal Justice. Abandoning his original plan to work in law enforcement, Dennis registered at The Art Institute of St. Louis to begin working on a B.A in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production. He would complete his degree with honors in two years. During that time, Dennis was nominated and won several film festivals. He is currently living outside of St Louis with his wife and two daughters.
