At the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend, pop star Miley Cyrus was heckled by furious fans following the screening of her film Something Beautiful.

Something Beautiful accompanies Cyrus’ recently released album by the same name. After the film was shown, Cyrus sat for a panel discussion with her collaborators and co-directors Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter.

Despite the cause for celebration, many of Cyrus’ fans expected her to perform a “concert” at the event and grew angry midway through the panel’s Q&a segment.

One particularly furious fan was heard yelling, “We thought this was a concert! We paid $800! Are you actually going to sing?”

Cyrus’ film premiere was never advertised as a live performance, but rather (per the festival website) “an exclusive conversation” with the artist following the screening.

As other audience members yelled, Cyrus looked out at the crowd, seemingly confused, and asked, “What?”

The 32-year-old “Flowers” singer held hands with boyfriend Maxx Morando as they left the Four Seasons New York Downtown where Miley had a private event for new album Something Beautiful on Thursday night (June 5) in New York City.

For the event, Miley wore a brown satin, cone bra dress with black criss-cross lace detailing and a fringe skirt while Maxx sported an all black outfit.

Joining Miley and Maxx at the event was her mom Tish Cyrus and her husband Dominic Purcell.

If you didn’t know, Miley dropped her ninth studio album titled Something Beautiful last week. The day of its release, she celebrated by making a surprise appearance at a gay night club called 3 Dollar Bill in Brooklyn, New York.

There was a lot of love in the room at the Chateau Marmont Tuesday night as Miley Cyrus debuted her album Something Beautiful for a small crowd of about 100 fans — as evidenced by the couple that got engaged right in front of a surprised Cyrus after she wrapped up a performance of her song “End of the World.”

”Go get a room, put it on my bill,” Cyrus said, jaw agape as the couple embraced and the crowd erupted in cheers.

It was a fittingly intimate moment for the evening, hosted by TikTok, as the fans hand selected by Cyrus’s team on the platform got to listen to Something Beautiful in full before Cyrus surprised the attendees with a 45-minute set.

The 31-year-old singer was joined backstage by her boyfriend Maxx Morando while hanging out at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Miley Cyrus is getting court-ordered protection from an alleged stalker.

The 30-year-old singer filed for a temporary restraining order against a 52-year-old man named Alexander Kardalian this week.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the man showed up at her home a few days after being released from San Quentin State Prison.

That’s what fans of the “Wrecking Ball” singer have been asking ever since a mysterious album from an unknown artist named Clara Pierce was yanked from Spotify after speculation that Cyrus recorded a secret album under an assumed name.

TikTok users have been pointing to an album by a heretofore unknown artist named Clara Pierce, who released an album on the same date that Cyrus dropped “Endless Summer Vacation”.

The Clara Pierce album, titled Down With Me, features vocals that sound strikingly similar to Cyrus’ distinctive pipes.

According to People, the singer, who recently dropped her eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation, is thriving following years of drama surrounding her and ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

She and Hemsworth met back in 2009 while filming “The Last Song”. They dated on and off for years, before marrying in December 2018. They split less than a year later, and divorced in February 2020.
