Zada Luby(I)

Zada Luby was born in Atlanta Georgia where she currently resides and began her acting career. Her passion for the arts was inspired by her father, Zeus Luby, who's also carving out a path in the industry. Zada's innate ability was first recognized by her acting coach. After their first session together he deemed her a natural talent destined for stardom. A little more than a year after that prophetic assessment, Zada secured her first lead role in a major motion picture titled "RUTH". In this gritty drama Zada more than holds her own alongside established actors; Hosea Chanchez of BET's former series "The Game" and Naturi Naughton of STARZ "Power". This performance gave the industry a glimpse into Zada's depth and her exceptional range, earning her an opportunity to trade lines in an intense scene opposite Angel Bassett, in WGN's former television series "Underground". Zada's powerful portrayal solidified her rising star status and paved the way for her most recent project "Team Joy". Zada stars as "Joy" alongside her costar Jesse Williams of "Grey's Anatomy" fame, who portrays her father in the upcoming film.
