Giacomo De Bello was born in Padua, Italy in 1995. After graduating in Electronic Music and Composition from the A. Steffani Conservatory in October 2018, he began working in film as a runner on small sets in Milan and London, while also directing and producing his first short films.
His most relevant professional credits include working as 2nd2nd AD for Luca Guadagnino's We Are Who We Are (2020), 2nd Floor AD on Le Livre de Clarence (2023) and AD on the Italian main units of Mission : Impossible - Dead Reckoning, partie 1 (2023), En plein vol (2024), Dune : Deuxième Partie (2024), F1 (2025) and Disclaimer (2024).
He is the president of Sangre Malo Film with which he produces, teaches and organizes festivals. His shorts have received over sixty awards and official selections at Italian and international festivals and have been distributed on ShortsTV, Amazon Prime. His latest film Scarrafone (2022) is currently in the top 10 horror movies on CHiliTV.
