Country trio Remember Monday has been revealed as this year’s Eurovision Song Contest UK entrant.
The group, a trio of best friends who met at school, will perform the single ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’, a song about the aftermath of a fun night out. Remember Monday co-wrote the song with Billen Ted, Thomas Stengaard and Julie ‘Kill J’ Aagaard.
Remember Monday met in 2013 and have since been regulars on the UK festival circuit. They have released two EPs and also appeared in musical theater productions.
The news was announced by the BBC this morning and came as the band appeared as guests on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2. David May, Founder of Fifteen 04, had led this year’s search alongside Andrew Cartmell, Executive Producer, BBC Studios North and Head of Delegation for the UK.
