Rosie O’Donnell shared her thoughts on Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser, Netflix’s new docu-series on The Biggest Loser.

In two separate posts, the 63-year-old former talk show host and comedian shared her thoughts on Jay Leno, as well as The Biggest Loser‘s Bob Harper.

She posted a photo of season 8 contestant Tracey Yukich, who appeared on The Tonight Show when Jay Leno was still the host.

Tracey spoke out about her treatment while making an appearance on the NBC late night host during that time period, including a segment where Leno revealed some of the death threats she had received.

As a documentary series living up to its title in every way conceivable, Netflix’s ‘Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser’ can only be described as equal parts baffling and intriguing. It comprises archival footage as well as interviews with many involved with the titular NBC show to shine a light on the damaging reality behind its success. Amongst those to be a significant part of this original production is former season 7 contestant Joelle Gwynn, who has alleged to feeling berated and belittled for the majority of her time on the show.

Sky has released the official trailer and announced the UK broadcast date of ‘Domina’ Season II with new episodes dropping weekly as double bills on Sky Atlantic and Now from 13th September 2023.

The historical drama series takes place during one of the most provocative and turbulent periods in Roman history. The series follows the extraordinary rise of Gaius Octavius, who became the first Emperor of Rome as Caesar Augustus, and his third wife, Livia Drusilla.

‘Domina’ chronicles the struggle for control of the Roman Empire, and of Rome’s Imperial Family, from a rare female perspective. In its first season, Livia Drusilla (Kasia Smutniak), the golden girl of the prominent Claudii family, returned to Rome after 10 years in exile, determined to regain everything that was stolen from her. When she married Gaius – Caesar Augustus (Matthew McNulty) – she was seated at the top of a fractious empire and a dysfunctional dynasty.

MGM+’s “Domina” actress Joelle goes by one name like Madonna and Cher. She steps back in time this season and into a Roman world, post Julius Caesar as Tiberius’ wife Vipsania.

In the series, Joelle worked with the hair and makeup team to create a look fitting for the show’s themes, death, manipulation and a battle for control over the city.

Exclusive: New cast have been added for the second season of MGM+ and Sky’s ancient Rome drama Domina, with David Avery (The Night Manager), Benjamin Isaac (Holmes & Watson) and Joelle (Dune) now aboard.

The show takes places during a volatile period in Roman history and follows the rise of Gaius/Emperor Augustus Caesar’s third wife, Livia Drusilla, who is played by Kasia Smutniak. The second season will chronicle the struggle for control of the Roman Empire and Rome’s Imperial family from a female perspective.

Returning for season two are Smutniak and series regulars Matthew McNulty (Gaius Julius Caesar), Liah O’Prey (Julia), Ben Batt (Agrippa), Ewan Horrocks (Drusus), Claire Forlani (Octavia), Darrell D’Silva (Piso), Christine Bottomley (Scribonia), and Alais Lawson (Marcella).

New series regular Avery will play ambitious young aristocrat Domitius, who joins Gaius’ family through marriage and proves himself to be a thorn in Livia’s side.

Soman Chainani’s bestselling book series springs to life in Netflix’s The School for Good and Evil. The official trailer explains that this special academy trains heroes and villains, and is the origin of every great fairy tale story.
