- Bálint Szántó is an ex-blogger and independent filmmaker. After publishing online reviews and articles he started his filmmaker career and established Lazy Cat Films in 2017.
First he produced short films e.g. Echoes (2018) and Parallel (2018) and in 2017 - cooperating with Gergö Elekes and József Gallai - he directed his first short film Az éjszaka fényei (2017).
In 2018 he directed two short films Cipõsdoboz (2018) and Gone (2018) - his short mystery horror was officially selected at the Short to the Point International Film Festival in Romania and won an award of merit at the 9th István Bujtor Film Festival in Hungary.
