Nele Vandeginste

Nele Vandeginste was born in Antwerp, Belgium, to an Ivorian mother and Belgian father. She lived in Belgium for most of her childhood (she also lived in Brazil for about a year and a half), but when she was 2 weeks shy of turning 13, she, her mother, and her sister moved to the United States.
Vandeginste has always had a passion for acting. She was in the ensemble of her high school's pilot of "Spring Awakening" (2012), a musical which was directed by Lou Volpe who was also her musical acting teacher. Lou Volpe was the inspiration for the non-fiction book "Drama High: The Incredible True Story of a Brilliant Teacher, a Struggling Town, and the Magic of Theater" written by Michael Sokolove, which subsequently influenced the creation of the TV-show "Rise" starring Josh Radnor which was produced by NBC.
After graduating from Harry S. Truman high school, Vandeginste moved to Phoenix, AZ. There she was part of few small acting projects such as the pilot "Westward" (2017) directed by Justin Clowes , where she played the role of Grace, and as the role of Sandy in "Bring On The Rain" (2017) directed by C. Robert Tatum.
Vandeginste is best known for her role as Julia in the documentary "Silk Road: Drugs, Death and the Dark Web" (2017), which was featured on the A&E and BBC channels.
After Vandeginste graduated from Arizona State University she moved to New York City. She then pivoted from acting to modeling, becoming several photographers muses and doing paid test shoots. Most recently she modeled for a UGC partnered posts with Ovira (2022).
