Pete Dorton

Pete Dorton is an award-winning actor, producer and writer based in New York City, originally from Pitsburg, Ohio. He has performed as an actor and produced numerous films, plays, and hosted events. He just successfully produced the AMT International Film Festival in NYC. One of his first television jobs was as a green room coordinator for Good Morning America in 2000. As an actor, Pete was awarded Best Actor for his short film "Lou" at the Chelsea Film Festival 2017. He just finished acting in and executive producing the feature film "In Fidelity" starring Chris Parnell, Cara Buono, Dennis Haysbert, Willow Shields, and Illeana Douglas out now. The drama "Bobcat Moretti" starring Vivica Fox which he executive produced was released in August 2023 and reached number one on Starz three weeks in a row. Pete also executive produced the feature film "Werewolf Game" starring Tony Todd, Bai Ling, Lydia Hearst, and Robert Picardo, which will be released in January 2025. He has three short films in the festival circuit. His latest short starring Lance Roberts and Andre De Shields is coming out soon. He's also a founding partner of YOLO Theatre Company.
