Tom Rayner(II)
Tom Rayner is an English broadcast journalist. He is a political correspondent for Sky News and regularly appears on many of the network's live shows, including Breakfast with Kay Burley (2019), Sky News Today (2001) and Sky News with Sarah Hewson (2019). Previously, he worked as a foreign correspondent covering South East Asia and the Middle East.
He has been shortlisted twice for the young journalist of the year award by the Royal Television Society, and received a gold award in the MHP top 30 under 30 journalism awards.
Prior to reporting, Tom worked in numerous producer roles for Sky, including Deputy Executive Producer for politics in Westminster and Specialist Home Affairs Producer.
In addition to news coverage, he has produced several documentaries on subjects such as the future of the British military, the Greek economic crisis, and the UK welfare system.
