Raquel Woodruff is a Latina actress, singer and writer based out of Los Angeles. Born and raised in Philly to a Puerto Rican mother and Irish father, Raquel was destined to acquire self-esteem just high enough to pursue a career in acting. She graduated from NYU in 2014, and just like the acting greats Brad Pitt and Denzel Washington, she majored in journalism.
Raquel's superpower is her versatility. Her bread and butter is snarky, whip-smart comedy, but her emotional accessibility draws her toward dramatic roles playing troubled, complicated characters. She can be seen as the title role on the Buzzfeed miniseries "The Bizarre Case of Ivy Kay" and in the films "Alpha Wolf" on Amazon Prime opposite Casper Van Dien and "This Time," a Stowe Story Labs selected feature directed by Sebastien Tobler.
