Jeff Asselin

Ottawa based drummer Jeff Asselin is no stranger to the Canadian Music Scene. At an early age, he developed a passion for drumming and education and studied with some world-renowned artists such as: Terry Clarke, Barry Elms, Chris McCann, Ian Froman, Chuck Burrows and most recently Ari Hoenig. After graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Performance in 2004 Jeff became a
full-time educator and performer, teaching a full roster of students at his drum studio (Jeff Asselin's Drum Academy), and is a performance instructor for Carleton University.
He has also toured extensively around the world performing club dates and major festivals throughout Canada, USA and Europe with acts such as: JW Jones, The Groovebug, Jacob Two-Two, Organix, The Lucas Haneman Express, Rebecca Noelle, Delbert and the Commotions and Trevor Alguire. Over the course of his career he has recorded on over 50 studio albums to date. Jeff is a proud endorser for Sonor Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Vic Firth, Remo, Protechtor Cases, Drumlite, Cympad, DrumTacs, and cRASHbar products.

Jeff resides in Ottawa Canada with his wife Erin Kugler and two children.
