Broc Sargent

Broc Sargent was born sweating in the summer months of Phoenix, Arizona. His mother Candy, had a number of professions growing up including a hairstylist and a personal trainer. His father Michael, is and has been in the Marine Corps for over thirty years.
Broc's father being in the military resulted in a family move every couple years. These places including Arizona, Virginia, Hawaii, New York, North Carolina and Southern California. Growing up in this way of life allowed Broc not only to live with but befriend people from all different economic classes and ethnic backgrounds. Constantly having to relearn the nature of those around him and being in a limbo of a traveling self-identity, Broc had to become very attentive and pliable to human behavior. One thing that stayed constant was Broc's obsession with books and movies. He grew up loving the Harry Potter series. His biggest thrill as a child was watching and reading "The Godfather" series and other rated R movies while his mother worked and his father was deployed.
After finishing a lackluster career as a high school student/athlete, Broc knew that he was not going to college under any circumstances. He then decided to follow in his father's footsteps (without telling him or his mother) and joined the US Marine Corps. He is proud to say he served honorably and learned invaluable skills such as leadership and attention to detail. But he is most proud of the friends he met and the good times they had together.
After his enlistment Broc fell in love with not only acting but storytelling. He started his acting career at Mira Costa college in San Diego where he was able to do plays from playwrights such as Moliere and John Cariani. From there Broc moved to LA to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. LA has proved to be a great move with him enjoying school, graduating his conservatory in Spring '19. In addition to that, he was able to act in and direct productions from the Eclectic Company Theatre in North Hollywood which he learned "A Ton from". He has also been a part of film projects such as the short "The Red in Me" in which he was the lead. Broc's goal for the future is to find truth in the world and to use acting or writing as a portal for others to relate. Another goal is to work with his heroes such as actors Joaquin Phoenix, Al Pacino and director Paul Thomas Anderson, to name a few.
