Charlene Aldridge (birth name: Charlene Rhoda Elizebeth Titley) was born in Walsall, West Midlands but grew up in East London As a child, she was fascinated and drawn to the art of acting and recited characters through her love of film Her late grandfather, who raised her for the first 6 years of her life, shared that same love for films and saw she had an ability for acting. Before he died he encouraged Charlene to pursue it on a professional level. Despite her humble beginnings, she remained passionate, dedicated and hard working to Further a career in performing arts in any way she could, taking part in every school play, practicing characters and accents in her spare time and reading books. Charlene then got a paper round job and a cleaning job at the age of 13 to pay for a drama workshop for kids which she would attend every weekend, when she grew too old for the workshop, she went on and started out as a film and TV extra where she gained knowledge of how things are run on a set observing and asking as many questions as she could. After years of hard graft and some challenging life experiences, Charlene featured in episode 2 of the first series of "the reluctant Landlord" starring Romesh Ranganathan then featured in episode 6 of "Turn up Charlie" as the A and R scout starring Idris Elba. Charlene then went on to make her own short film "Broken Promises" in 2018 where she won Best Actress twice and best short when it was submitted into festivals, something she's very proud she done in doing on and off camera through what she learned in the background work. Charlene has now made progress in the film industry and She has obtained further roles since, and landed the Lead role in feature film "Losing faith" which premieres on 8th April 2023 alongside Mark Moraghan and Steve Wood. She has a realist, hardworking and disciplined mindset and a good sense of humour.
