Fertilized from the rich soil of Wisconsin and transplanted to savory fields of Georgia Sa Jules has been writing and assassinating the mic as a spoken word artist since the age of eleven. She spits pure uncensored truth with no chasers. She has won several poetry competitions and intends to win many more. Sa Jules has also been acting in the theater since the age of eleven as well. A list of her works include, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Quilt, The Show Boat, It Ain't Always Him, and Take Me just to name a few. Sa Jules is currently in production with the hit stage play When God Calls, Will You Answer? under the Production Company One Dollar Enterprise which is set to tour beginning August 2016 through 2017. Coming in 2017 Sa Jules joined the cast of another hit stage play entitled Whom the Son Sets Free produced by Mahasu Productions. In addition to the theater, Sa Jules continues to perform spoken word at various venues including but not limited to Savoy's Night Club(WI), Genes Supper Club(WI), HiLo(WI), Mahogany Lounge, open mic(GA), Humanitree House, open mic(GA), Knights' Lounge(GA), 601 Broad St(GA), Eye Addiction(NC), Flo's, open mic(GA), Sharif's Hookah Bar Lounge(GA) to name a few and web shows such as Karlton Says Live which she was also a guest co-host in 2016. She has also become a cast member in the web series Karma produced by Victory Productions which is currently in its 4th season, Color Blind also produced by Victory Production which is in its 2nd season and The Case which was Produced by Jalen Frasier. Additional web series coming in 2017 for Sa Jules are Black & Blue also produced by Victory Productions. In May of 2016 Sa Jules began her monologue show entitled Life Logues which features 5 spoken word artists and one singer. This is her way of shedding some of the spotlight on poets that may not get the recognition they deserve. She is happy to announce that Life Logues will be back in March 2017. More recently Sa Jules added journalist to her resume with researching and writing articles for up and coming actors. The fall of 2016 Sa Jules collaborated with a theater company bringing forth a dynamic program entitle The Urban Expression which will incorporate spoken word and theater on one stage that reflect issues going on in today's society. Sa Jules was thrust into the life of entertainment because her mother Dixie Macklin saw a gift in her young daughter. Dixie sent Sa Jules to Lincoln Center Middle School of the Arts(LCMSA) where she received formal training in theater in the areas of acting, play-writing, costume design, writing short stories and poetry. She continues to soar and make strides in the entertainment industry while her mother shines down on her from the Heavens above. Stay tuned because the best from Sa Jules is yet to come.
