The mid-credit scene in Gyeongseong Creature raises questions about the future of the series as it jumps decades into the future and introduces a new character named Ho-jae. The images shown on the television in the scene depict significant events in Korean history, from Japanese rule to the Korean War to modern-day Korea. The man with a scar on his neck in the scene is believed to be Tae-sang, one of the main characters, and his presence in the present day suggests the possibility of time travel or regeneration through the use of a Najin parasite.

Set in 1945 during Japanese-ruled Korea, Gyeongseong Creature follows Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon) and Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee) as they try to locate the missing pregnant mistress of Police Commissioner Ishikawa (Kim Do-hyun). The second set of episodes, released on Jan. 5, 2024, makes the series one of the best K-dramas to release in Jan.

Lady Maeda is revealed as the real villain behind the experiments in Gyeongseong Creature, funding them to eliminate her enemies. Myeong-ja becomes a monster after ingesting a Nijan parasite, and Lieutenant General Kato continues his research with her half-human/half-creature child. Chae-ok and Tae-sang try to escape but encounter Lady Maeda's henchmen. Chae-ok sacrifices herself to save Tae-sang, and their fates remain uncertain.

Ishikawa has been portrayed as one of the most vicious characters in the series Gyeongseong Creature. Played by Kim Do-hyun, the character is a Police Commissioner in the Gyeongmu Bureau of Gyeongseong. He had been behind, pursuing Tae-sang to go into the hospital and search for his mistress. He did not think twice before putting people’s lives in danger to fulfill his own selfish desires. However, every action has consequences, and even Ishikawa is not an exception, as he eventually has to face the consequences of his actions. What Did Ishikawa Want From Tae-Sang?

Ishikawa forced Tae-sang to go into Ongseong Hospital to find his mistress, Myeong-ja. When Myeong-ja went missing, he approached Tae-sang, as he had all the information about people in the town. Ishikawa thought that Tae-sang was the right person who could find out about Myeong-ja.

Jihan’s death was confirmed by his two agencies, who released a joint statement to Instagram.
