Ylva Cecilia Waern ("CeCe") is a Swedish born actress known for the wildly popular comedy platform "Almost Friday TV". She is also stars in several indie productions such as "The God's Pill" and "The Desert Project."
Ylva was born in Stockholm, Sweden, as the youngest child of five. Her father was a jazz musician and she attended a music conservatory and studied theater. The family later moved to the U.S. where Ylva went to high school and college.
Ylva has studied acting in both Sweden and in LA at various academies and she is a long-time member of Bobby Moresco's "The Actor's Gym." Most recently she has gone through the Groundlings program where she has also performed.
Ylva enjoys writing and she has recently finished her first feature film, a thriller set in the deep South. She also enjoys comedies and writes short films and skits for herself and her actor friends. The "Mousse Cake" is a short film that she wrote and directed about a woman who has a crush on her gay neighbor.
She is known for being a huge animal friend and an avid athlete. She was nationally ranked in tennis as a junior and she has a yellow belt in Krav Maga.
