So it turns out that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) is one of the best Isa Analysts Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) has ever worked with, and in one fell swoop, the show filled in Cat’s origin story of how she ended up in Clyde’s clutches. On top of this, her new assignment required partnering up with Rafe (Galen Gering). We’re going to need time to process because it took a lot of heavy lifting to finally flesh out a character that has been on the canvas for a little over a year.

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) tried getting Chad (Billy Flynn) to get Dimera back. Tony returned and Ej told him about Johnny (Carson Boatman) and the memory stick from Rafe’s (Galen Gering) camera. Later, Tony decided he needed to reclaim the family business on his own. Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) told JJ (Casey Moss) they plan on visiting more to keep an eye on Cat (AnnaLynne McCord). Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) asked Cat to return to the Isa. She tried to refuse after everything it cost her last time when Clyde (James Read) caught her and tormented her, but ultimately agreed. JJ ran into Gabi in the square and apologized for accusing her of shooting Ej only because of new evidence, which frustrated Gabi.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are trying to give the new writers a chance as they change the show to fit their view, and this storyline has us curious.

When we first met Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), she was held in the same room they found John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in.

This led to plenty of speculation as to why she was there, which we later found out was due to Clyde Weston (James Read). He wanted the Dimera fortune.

In the Monday, June 23 episode of Days of Our Lives, Jack and Jennifer had game night with JJ and Thomas. On the verge of returning to Boston, they told JJ that one of the reasons they wanted to visit Salem more frequently was because of Cat Greene. Meanwhile, Gabi asked Chad to take back Dimera, although she should have been talking to Tony. And Shane had an illuminating chat with Cat.

Okay, so it was a real information dump on Cat Greene’s history during Monday’s episode. So here’s what we now know and how it all ties together:

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) was an analyst for the Isa. One of the best ever, according to Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy). As an analyst, she wasn’t in the field, but she was assigned to the Clyde Weston (James Read) case. So she investigated his drug ring.

The first rule of life in Salem is that whoever the police arrest for a serious crime is innocent… at least the first five or six times.

Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of 6-23-25 promise that Rachel’s secret will come out, resulting in Johnny getting arrested for trying to kill Ej.

Fortunately, the legal drama won’t happen until after Andrew and Paul’s wedding, which will give us all a much-needed break from the heaviness of John’s death.

I’d be more excited for the wedding if the grooms had been on-screen more consistently in the lead-up.

They popped up in Salem after a long absence to help say goodbye to John, originally planning to have their wedding once he recovered and was out of the hospital.

Shea Whigham and Carrie Coon have been two of the ever-reliable actors for a long time. They have shined in many projects that were rarely the zeitgeist from those times. ‘Lake George’ (2024) offers them to be the dynamic central pair as versions of the classic runaway duo, ‘Bonnie and Clyde’. However, unlike the 1967 film, this crime thriller is far more grounded. It isn’t about an angry young man rebelling against the world. Instead, it’s about a middle-aged man, coping with past regrets, and hoping for a fresh start. In his journey for mere survival, he faces unusual problems.

The film’s protagonist, Don (Shea Whingham), returns from his long term in prison. Now fairly old, he struggles to find work or even a friendly face. His past friends and family ignore him. While some of them are dead, he is dead for the others. He is jaded and has nothing to return to.

As 2024 comes to a close in Salem, there are plenty of faces old and new we’d love to see more of on Days of our Lives… and plenty we’d like to see less of.

Salem’s newest resident, Doug III (Peyton Meyer), is one who should stick around town for a long time. With a connection to The Hortons, a suspicious past, and an attraction to Holly (Ashley Puzemis), Doug III has all the ingredients to become a beloved Salemites in the new year.

Now that JJ (Casey Moss) has decided to stay in Salem, it’s time for this fan favorite to get a major storyline. Of course, he’ll be seen a lot with his return to the Salem Pd and rekindling his relationship with Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), but this legacy character deserves a starring role in 2025.

It’s been almost three years since the controversial ending to Dexter: New Blood, and creator Clyde Phillips has finally come clean about why he decided to kill off the beloved vigilante serial killer in what was – at the time – one of the biggest shocks in TV history. Santa’s nice list is short and sweet in Salem, starting with, who everyone’s disbelief, Leo (Greg Rikaart). Sure, he kept the baby swap secret at the start of the year, and has made the naughty list plenty of times in the past, but this year, this typically love-to-hate character has turned into one who viewers hate to love. He’s been genuinely seeking romance, committed to doing right by Alice’s necklace, and even took charge of his mental health by seeking counseling from Marlena (Deidre Hall).

Hit: Faith comforted Lucy. Poor Lucy — she’s reeling from losing her mother at such an early age. And when Faith ran into Lucy, she immediately supported the teen. It’s exactly what Lucy needed and all of the awkwardness and the painful social cues weren’t there. Both Reylynn Caster and Lily Brooks O’Briant were great during these scenes.

Miss: Any scene of Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) running into Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman). Unfortunately, these scenes are not as fun or as dramatic as we want them to be.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) updated Brady (Eric Martsolf) on what he learned about Fiona, while Xander (Paul Telfer) told Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) everything about the serum and Sarah’s lie. Later, when Fiona threatened to wheel Sarah down the stairs to shut her up, Xander showed up to save the day. In true Xander (Paul Telfer) fashion, he goes from one mess to another.

In 2013, Casey Moss took over the role of JJ Deveraux on Days of Our Lives. Trouble always followed JJ, especially when he covered up the fact that he was doing drugs with Theresa the night she overdosed. After continuing to battle drugs, he cleaned his act up and left town for his own sanity. JJ was last seen in Salem at his sister Abigail’s funeral, but now that she’s seemingly back from the dead, he’s also returning.

It’s Like a Family Reunion

Abigail’s return from the dead has some people believing it, while others remain skeptical. Viewers know that she’s a fake Abby, or Fabby, played by AnnaLynne McCord. Of course, Fauxbigail (AnnaLynne McCord) knows she’s not really Abigail, so she’s hurrying to marry Chad. Once he’s dead, she’ll be his widow, get all his money, and hand it over to Clyde (James Read) in exchange for her missing mom.

As fans know, “Abby” ‘spontaneously’ suggested the two get married in Paris. While she didn’t get her memory back, she did remember her “feelings” for Chad.

The secret phase of this drunk driving paralysis story is just about over. While last week, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) remembered Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) was the one behind the wheel, in Monday’s episode, she confronted her mad mother-in-law.

While it took some time, Fiona finally admitted it and then proceeded to try and throw a wheelchair-bound Sarah down the steps. Thankfully, Xander (Paul Telfer) arrived in time to stop that from happening.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 includes its feistiest and most unpredictable antagonists yet: the criminal duo of Moll (played by Eve Harlow) and L'ak (Elias Toufexis). Stealing a piece of Progenitor technology capable of reshaping the entire galaxy, Moll and L'ak are pursued by the USS Discovery to prevent this new power from falling into the wrong hands. However, Moll is more connected to Discovery hero Cleveland "Book" Booker than the crew anticipated -- complicating the hunt for this interstellar Bonnie and Clyde.

In an interview with Cbr, Harlow and Toufexis talk about finding their Discovery characters between the science fiction stakes and prosthetics. When showrunner Michelle Paradise and co-creator Alex Kurtzman sat down to begin planning what would ultimately become the final season of “Star Trek: Discovery” they had one big goal: “Bigger and bolder,” of course, Paradise said.

They didn’t originally know the program would be coming to an end, but they still wanted to take some big swings when it came to keeping the story fresh for Season 5 — and that means compelling villains.

“They’re kind of like the Bonnie and Clyde of the ‘Star Trek’ universe,” Kurtzman said to IndieWire about the new baddies that fans will meet in the premiere episode. “But like all great villains, they have a sympathetic story. You know the old adage: The villain is the hero of their own story. That’s very true for them, and I think ultimately you’ll love them as much as you’ll see them as the villain.

Second Stage Theater founder Carole Rothman is leaving the company after more than 45 years at its helm.

Rothman founded Second Stage in 1979, with the mission of developing and producing works by living American playwrights. Called A Really Haunted Loud House, the special is a feature-length film starring the live-action cast of The Really Loud House. The show centers around NYU student, Samantha, and the events that lead to her being shot on the night of July 4th, 2003. Stars Xavier Clyde...

Actor Adrianne Palicki is one of that select group of actors who has had a foot in both the Marvel and DC universes onscreen. While her DC adventures did not work out so well – she played the title character in an unsold Wonder Woman pilot for NBC and appeared as a villain in an (also unsold) Aquaman pilot for The CW – her time with Marvel was more successful.

Palicki played agent Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, for most of two seasons on Marvel’s ABC-tv series Agents of Shield, appearing in 31 episodes between 2014 and 2016 alongside team partner and ex-husband Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). Morse and Hunter were such a popular part of the ensemble that Marvel TV decided to spin them off at the end of Season 3 into their own series.
