Timmy H. Barron was born in Owensboro, KY. He is the 4th of 6 kids. Timmy got his start on stage at Owensboro Christian Church, playing and then leading the youth worship band along with performing in church musicals and skits. In high school Timmy was involved in Band, Choir, Drama, Speech Team and was his high school mascot for four years.

Timmy studied theatre performance at SCAD and then the University of Memphis before moving to Nashville, TN to play in the band The Usual. Shortly after the band split ways, Timmy moved to Chicago to continue his training at The Second City's Musical and Improv Conservatories. After graduating Timmy was hired by The Second City to perform aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. It was on NCL's Star that he met his Irish wife Tara Hazel Walsh.

Timmy wrote and performed in the "Timmy Heidi Picture Show" which was later picked up by Ruckus Factory and filmed as a pilot. Nina Metz of Chicago Tribune said of the live show:

"Barron (who has a Paul Rudd-like energy and look) is just so good as a performer, not only do you like him, but you want to like him. The high production values, which aren't so complicated but are cleanly and smartly deployed (a rarity in most sketch shows not featured on Second City's two stages), give this show a sleek sense of confidence... (Timmy) riffs on self-serious David Copperfield-style magician dramatics (he readies to swallow one Dorito chip as if preparing to swallow a sword; it's rich, ridiculous stuff). The other is a two-parter that will speak to anyone who was a music student in high school, with Barron playing a teacher with the most intense stare imaginable and yet remaining entirely within the realm of the believable."

Timmy has been a writer and performer in some of Chicago's best sketch comedy shows including "Bye Bye Liver: The Chicago Drinking Play" and the musical sketch show "Cupid Has A Heart On". Timmy has also performed in Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and NYC Sketch Comedy Festival.

Timmy has worked as a barista, Segway tour guide, Second City night staff/host, Social Media Manager/Content Creator at Tribeca Flashpoint College and has only been fired from two of those jobs.

Timmy signed with NV Talent in 2017 and since has starred in several commercials, short films, music videos, co-starred in Chicago Fire and has been nominated for best actor at several festivals, taking the win at the NOLA Film Fest.

Although Timmy is an actor, musician and comedian he loves to shoot and edit video and can be seen making silly sketches on his Instagram page @timmyhartbarron.

Timmy has a daughter named Una Nova with his wife Tara and performs around Chicago regularly, being seen on the stages of Second City, Annoyance, iO and many others. Timmy is also very involved with SAG-AFTRA serving on the Next Gen Performers Committee.
