Antonio Kodrinaj

Born in Shkoder, Albania, on April 22, 1989, Antonio Kodrinaj spent much of his life between Greece and Italy, where he developed a deep passion for cinema at the age of 15. A self-taught actor with an innate talent, Antonio's career took off in 2012 when he was discovered by Italian director Fabrizio Favilli, who cast him in a leading role in the acclaimed film Villa Triste.
This breakthrough led to a collaboration with renowned Albanian director Jotti Ejlli, who cast Antonio in another lead role for the 2014 film HIJE (Shadows), marking a major turning point in his acting journey. The film was released in 2016 to widespread acclaim, solidifying his position in the Albanian film industry.
In 2018, Antonio starred in Il Ritratto Incompiuto (The Unfinished Portrait), a co-production between Italy and Albania, directed by Namik Ajazi. This film further established Antonio as a major force in Albanian cinema. His success continued with the 2022 box-office hit Sofia, which shattered records to become one of the most-watched films in Albania in the past decade.
