Athlete rights commercialization company OneTeam Partners has added former Netflix and Dreamworks executive Bruce Daitch to its board of directors, bringing modern media expertise to the group.
At Netflix for three years, Daitch served as VP of animation, leading global production strategy. Before that, he spent more than 20 years at DreamWorks Animation including stints as COO and CFO. He also serves on the NFL Players Inc. board of directors.
OneTeam is a joint venture between the Nflpa, Mlbpa, Wnbpa, Mlspa and Uswntpa, with backing from multiple financial firms who see a larger opportunity for players groups to generate revenue from athlete names, images and likenesses. In addition to the owning groups, OneTeam represents rights for the Nwsl Players Association, U.S. Rugby Players Association, League of Legends Championship Series and Valorant Players Associations, as well as many college athletes.
