Robert Hyatt "Bobby" Clark was born on January 28, 1913 in Covina, California. Clark won the Amateur Athletic Union decathlon in both 1934 and 1935 as well as the men's long jump at the lC4A championships for the University of California, Berkeley in 1934. Robert went on to represent the United States at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany, where he placed sixth in the men's long jump and won a silver medal in the men's decathlon. Clark died at age 63 on May 13, 1976 in Arcadia, California.
