Ashwin Verman

An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), Ashwin is known for his work as a Screenwriter and Dialogue Writer for Netflix's popular crime drama 'Jamtara', Amazon MX Player's romantic comedy 'Pyar Ka Professor', ZEE5's investigative drama 'Crime Beat' and the Hindi feature film 'Chakki'. His other work on digital mediums includes the Amazon miniTV show 'Official CEOgiri', 'Cookiees' on Hotstar and a drama-comedy miniseries called 'Duck Se Dude' for zee5. One of his original screenplays (a survival-thriller called 'Lambs and Wolves') was the finalist of Mumbai Mantra Screenwriting Lab 2016. The student films he worked on during film school went on to win accolades at many major national film festivals. He is based in Mumbai.
